We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, with specific skills in finishing work. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a creative eye to ensure the highest quality of finish for our custom projects.
• Install and finish custom cabinetry, moldings, trim, and other detailed carpentry work to meet
design specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements.
• Select, measure, cut, and install various types of wood and other materials.
• Ensure all installations are securely fitted, aligned, and finished to Tennessee Designs' high
standards.
• Collaborate with the design and construction teams to resolve any issues and ensure timely
project completion.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials.
• Proficiency in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws,
hammers, rulers, etc.).
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Keen eye for detail and creative problem-solving skills.
• Good physical condition and endurance.
• High school diploma; further training in carpentry or a relevant field is a plus.
